Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Contributing to serving millions of underrepresented individuals globally, with a focus on addressing climate change.
• Developing and maintaining a high-performance core infrastructure/banking system.
• Managing integrations with various payments and service providers to streamline clients’ financial processes.
• Integrate with other measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) solutions.
• Design elegant systems that optimise for speed today, but are flexible enough to scale over time.
• Build an early engineering-first culture that values scientific rigour, pragmatism, learning and teamwork.

Requirements

You’ll need:

• STEM degree from a top university.
• 3+ years experience in backend software development.
• Proficient in JVM-based languages for server-side development.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Experience with advanced Postgres features like GIST indexes, partitioning and replication.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Experience in a fast growing start-up and FinTech environment.
